How to know your undertone

Undertones are the colours beneath the skin this is usually determined by looking at the colour of your veins.. Your undertones are not the colours you can see on the skins surface.. Knowing your skins undertone is more important then you think, not knowing your undertones could lead to you choosing and buying the wrong foundations! Isn’t it strange how two different foundations can appear the same color but when applying them one may look better then the other? This is because foundation are made to match the skin tone as well as the undertones…(Skin Tone is the color that you can see on the surface of the skin).. If a foundation is the right skin tone but the wrong undertone it will appear dull, ashy and even caked on and can make it hard to blend

The category are WARM - COOL  - NEUTRAL

The easiest way to work out your skins undertone is by looking at the colour of your veins. If your veins look green you have a WARM undertone, if they appear blue you have a COOL undertone and if they appear green and blue then your NEUTRAL also if you can’t tell what colour your veins are then your also NEUTRAL..

WARM girls most likely have yellow undertones while COOL toned girls have pinky undertones. A mixture of both would put you in the NEUTRAL category.
