How often do you wash your makeup brushes? If you're like many women, it may never have crossed your mind but here's some reasons why you should.
* Brushes cost money and the good brushes cost a lot of money! Taking care of your brushes will prolong the life of your investment.
* Dirty brushes don't feel good! Ever notice how soft a brush feels at first, then several months later, it kind of feels like dragging sand-paper over your face? It's because the brush is dirty!
* And this is the really BIG important reason why you should wash your brushes. Dirty brushes harbor bacteria. Every time you apply makeup, the brush collects product on the bristles then sits there getting dirtier and dirtier -- then the next day, you put that brush on your face again. This cycle can cause enlarged pores and cystic pimples.
Hopefully you're now convinced to wash your brushes.

Shampoo (cleans deeply & sanitize it) - if you regularly use the brushes, use it once a week, if not 2/3 times per month
